Established in 1998, Libraco Engineering Services is a family run, specialist manufacturing company based in the West Midlands, supplying high quality products to other manufacturers and component distribution companies around the world. Over the years we have supplied specialist component parts to large corporations and worked on major infrastructure projects such as the Channel Tunnel and Severn Bridge.

Libraco offers specialised products relevant to the furniture manufacturing industry and to D.I.Y stores.
Products are distributed to furniture manufacturers via trade wholesalers and to D.I.Y stores via retail wholesalers.

Screw Cap Covers

Our Self Adhesive Cover Caps provides a professional finish on furniture and cabinets, discreetly covering up screw heads and holes. Manufactured from high grade PVC material, just 0.4mm thick. Ideal for covering screw heads, general repairs to damaged surfaces or unused holes, they provide a hardwearing, water tight seal

Edgebanding

Edgebanding is used to cover the edges of cabinet type furniture as found in bedrooms, kitchens, offices and medical establishments. Supplied in a large range of colours and materials and to provide a near perfect match.

 

  • 22/23mm wide (bespoke widths available)
  • Available in Melamine - The most economic material which is normally supplied pre-glued with heat activated adhesive.
  • Available in ABS/PVC - A more robust material which usually requires wet adhesive, however we can supply this material with a pressure sensitive adhesive (Extreme Grip Sticky Band) which is very aggressive and developed specifically for cold fixing of Edgebanding to difficult surfaces such as chipboard.
  • Available in Real Wood - A thin veneer of real wood species which can be supplied pre-glued or un-coated.
  • Available in 1m – 300m lengths

Extreme Grip Tape

Extreme Grip Sticky Band is a high performance pressure sensitive adhesive, specially developed for the cold fixing onsite of edgebanding (ABS/PVC/Melamine/Real Wood Veneer). The aggressive adhesive is uniquely formulated and FDA approved.  

The high adhesive mass presses deep into the exposed edges of chipboard, MDF, Plywood and other rough and uneven surfaces to provide an efficient bond. It also provides excellent bonding of metals and plastics and can be used for signs, kickboards, lightweight trims, plastic sheets and lightweight insulation panels.

 

  • Adhesive reaches full strength within 24 hours
  • Available in 20mm, 26mm and 44mm wide x 10 metre rolls

Assembly & Manufacturing

For over 15 years Libraco has produced and assembled a range of items such as Edgeband colour swatches. A re-coiling facility provides the ability to dispense small length rolls of Edgebanding from much larger parent rolls. Hand labelling and bespoke packing of customer products can also be provided.
